The Critical Race Theory

I began last week the account of racism in the United States and how an opposite current of thought and indoctrination emerged that seeks to amend the horror of slavery and racial discrimination by arguing that “race is a cultural category invented to oppress people of color. “

The Critical Race Theory (CRT) states that “US law and institutions are inherently racist and exist to create and preserve social, political, and economic inequality between whites and people of color, especially blacks.”

CRT affirms that “the laws that impose neutral standards concerning race only serve to mitigate the most extreme cases of oppression with no practical benefits for marginalized minority groups by only giving them equal treatment and opportunity but not equal results.”

In the previous paragraph emerges the Marxist lineage of those who propose it because no free society can impose equality of results and preserve their freedom, while the order that society has given itself to equal opportunities for all is destroyed, which implies ending with it.

The guru of the CRT Ibram X. Kendi of Boston University proposes to create the Department of Antiracism, an autonomous entity that would have the power to nullify, veto or abolish laws at all levels of government and suppress the speech of politicians who are not sufficiently anti-racist.

A concrete result of creating such horror would be to overthrow capitalism because, as Kendi affirms, “to be truly anti-racist, one must be anti-capitalist as well,” which implies the end of private property, federalism, individual rights, equality before the law, and freedom of expression.

How is CRT applied in practice? In the US government, it has become a general rule to “re-educate” white personnel accused of committing “micro-inequities” by becoming “oppressors” since “all whites contribute to racism,” that “white macho culture is equivalent to the Ku Klux Klan,” and similar nonsense.

The CRT poisons the educational system: 1st-grade children are forced to “deconstruct their racial and sexual identity” and classify themselves for “their power and privilege;” High school teachers must be placed in a “matrix of oppression” because “heterosexual, white, Christian, English-speaking men are oppressors and must atone for their privileges and their covert white supremacy.”

Boys in 5th grade are forced to celebrate “Black Communism” and pretend to protest to free from prison the terrorist Angela Davis, accused of murder. The Seattle school authority accused its white teachers of being guilty of the “spiritual murder” of its black students and ordered them “to demolish their privileges and accept that they stole their students’ inheritance.”**

Columnist George F. Will recounts the resignation of a private school teacher in New Jersey for “adopting an ideology harmful to the emotional and intellectual development of her students by forcing them to see themselves not as individuals but as representatives of oppressive or oppressed groups.***

In future installments, I will relate the virulent reaction to the CRT and its serious political aftermath.
