Among the highlights was the JL-1 air-launched long-range missile, underscoring China’s capacity for aerial nuclear deterrence.
Complementing this was the JL-3 submarine-launched intercontinental missile, signaling a robust and survivable sea-based second-strike capability. Finally, the DF-61 and DF-31BJ land-based intercontinental missiles were prominently displayed, representing the cornerstone of China’s land-based nuclear arsenal and its ability to reach distant targets.
